Fortunately, the actors on the show are allowed to cry, but she had to go through a lot of therapy.

Ayorinde's success on screen has led to her expansion to the film and television world. She has appeared in films such as Girls Trip and The Affair. In the same year, she will star as Liz in the biopic Fatherhood, a story about a single father raising his daughter. In 2019, she is also set to appear in a television series based on the life of Harriet Tubman.

Ashley Thomas

Ashley Thomas plays the character Henry Emory on the popular Netflix series THEM: Covenant. The character is the husband of Lucky and the father of Chester, Ruby, and Gracie. They decide to move to a new life in the city of Compton, California. Henry has no idea that his family will become victims of the evil forces that are lurking in their city. In order to protect their family and themselves, the white neighbors will do anything they can to save them.

The series stars Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, and Ryan Kwanten. Ashley Thomas, who previously played Hannah on the hit series 24: Legacy, also plays the first Black engineer at the new company. Ashley Thomas has also starred in Top boy and starred as Agnes Jurati on Star Trek: Discovery. Anika Noni Rose, who played Princess Tiana in Disney's Princess and the Frog, is also set to star in Them. She has also starred in Power, Dream Girls, and the upcoming Lion King movie.

Before filming, Ashley Thomas met Deborah Ayorinde, who plays his onscreen wife. They were reunited several times on the set and even spent weekends with their daughters. "Them" is an intense drama from the creators of "Little Marvin" and "The Lion King." It is about a black family who moves into an all-white neighborhood in Los Angeles during the 1950s. Starring in the Amazon Prime series "They," Ryan Kwanten has a rich background in television and film. Before He's a Teenager, Kwanten starred on the HBO series "True Blood," which ran for seven seasons. Most recently, Kwanten appeared in the Lena Waithe anthology "Them." He's also appeared in Bluhouse/Facebook Watch series "Season 2" and the Sony Crackle drama, "Loveland."

Ryan Kwanten has a long history in the entertainment industry, and has become an international star. Most notably, his role as Jason Stackhouse on the hit HBO series "True Blood" gave him heartthrob status for six years. After the show ended, Kwanten has continued to land excellent roles. He is currently promoting his new Neo-fi thriller "Expired," and has other projects in the works.

The first season of "They" will debut on April 9, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. The series follows a family of Black people who move to a predominantly white neighborhood in Los Angeles. In the movie Them, Pill portrays the racist and vile Betty Wendell, who leads a racially motivated campaign against the Emory family for moving to a predominantly white California suburb. She is one of the few black women to play an afro-dyed, 1950s-styled character. Her role as Betty Wendell is both horrifying and empowering, as she speaks out against white supremacy.
